Solitude

In his book Walden, Henry David Thoreau dedicates a whole chapter on solitude. It is a chapter I particularly enjoyed reading, as it resonates deep within me. When I got to the following words, it felt as if I wrote them myself:

“I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone.”
